Z. Haydu Manufacturing Corporation offers four slide wire & ribbon forming. We have a complete machine shop to manufacture the tooling requirements needed for your print or drawing specifications. This process is designed for orders of 25,000 to 1,000,000+ parts from the same tooling. Parts that lend themselves to four-slide forming are typically used for electrical contacts, grounding lugs, lighting element leads, various crimps, specialized arch springs, and many other small parts that require both volume and consistent quality. Able to run most materials, size limitations do exist:

Wire diameters up to 1/8"
Ribbon dimensions of 1/16" THK x 1½" W
Stroke length (theoretical developed length of part) cannot exceed 6"

Additional considerations exist regarding piercing and bending. Each part will have its own unique tooling requirements.
